Re: poorly MKS70 - not sure what's up with it, MIDI fault?

ok turns out they're not always together, on this example it's:

- x - r - -
on a 6 note sequence.

also there's a h**l a lot of mains 50hz hum coming out the mks mix out, not so bad on the A / B outs

Re: poorly MKS70 - not sure what's up with it, MIDI fault?

https://soundcloud.com/phineus-ii/messed-up-board-b-mks70 test on saw wave, newest firmware 1.08 but was the same on the old eproms. ALWAYS: 10 normal notes ( - ) 1 dead note ( x ) 1 weird ringmoddy sounding note (r) sometimes different variation across the keyboard like - - - x r - - - - - - - - -...

poorly MKS70 - not sure what's up with it, MIDI fault?

So I know I probably won't get a reply soon because forums are so quiet now but it's worth a shot OK SO! I managed to win an mks70 off ebay. There was a picture of it on showing the version so I though, yeah this should ok. Had it for a week and it sounds a bit 'circuit bent' without actually being ...

Re: which is the best roland JX to get?

I bet it's just filled with air and not electronics becau...

which is the best roland JX to get?

I really want the mks70 because it looks like one of the big daddies, is it worth having in 2020 for my synth pallet or is it a bit over kill and all I need is the JX8P I like strings I don't want a juno strings sound though but something else. not sure. Problem is that mks70, the prices be getting ...

Jasper 5 / 6 tier keyboard stands, any good?

Ok I know this isn't really about synths so hopefully a mod will move it to correct place OK, SO, Basically, was looking at these with interest, mainly because unlike other "A-frame stands", it's more of an | \ than a / \ which is great for me because my room is so tiny, so it can go up against the ...

yamaha sy35 save into the keyboard possible?

The manual was written by a fool, it doesn't clearly state if I need a silly rare card that will probably never ever turn up on ebay EVER Or can I just store a patch I created onto the internal battery memory ram if there is one. Anyone know, gonna have to leave the synth on until I know. Could alwa...

Re: s950 floppy drive replacement

It formats HD disks and it shows up as 71% but reading another forum this is actually correct and nothing to be alarmed about. So the whole 1.44mb does get formatted. I just wanna thank ebayer cpmagneticmedia even though he's probably not reading this. he was very helpful in the messaging to try and...
