Re: Keyboards and synthesizers in Progressive Rock

My bad. Of coarse Jobson had come up earlier. Then again, he deserves to be mentioned every now and then.

Re: Keyboards and synthesizers in Progressive Rock

Unbelievable, no one has brought up Eddie Jobson and U.K. yet. Take a listen to Carrying no cross, and discover yet another dimension of progressive keyboard playing.
As for Equipment, during one time he used a CS80, a CP70, a Putney, a Minimoog, a P5, and a Hammond C3.

Re: Minmoog pitch wheel

I´m about to take care of the spring issue, to make the wheel bounce back. This post was about the range of the pitch wheel. My goes +/-5 halftones, and I would like to change it to +/-2 instead.

Re: Building a MIDI controller

So, I got my two 44 note Fatar monophonic aftertouch keybeds, and I´ve ordered some parts for one of them (to begin with). I´m getting Doepfer MKE + Cables, suitable for 2-3 octaves. They have the same connectors, and I hope it´ll work. I also got two single pitch- and modulation wheels. What I don´...

Re: I Got a Elka Synthex.....and then another!

I have one. It works perfectly after spending three years at a technicians, who accidently lost a few of the knob caps. Does anyone know where I can get new ones, and perhaps also a new 'joystick'.

Re: Yamaha EX5- Any fans??

It´s my work horse, second to the Hammond C3. I love the warmth, but I´d like it to be less gloomy when it comes to analogue pads. Except for that, and having problems with getting-more-than-two-patches-in-a-performance-like everyone-else, I´d like to know if it is possible to save sequences without...

Re: Minmoog pitch wheel

Still no one having anything to say about how to get a spring for the pitch bend wheel on a Minimoog? Surely, there must be a lot of users having this problem - and perhaps the solution for it.

Re: Building a MIDI controller

Keyparts helped me out and the order was placed. Now, I have to take care of the rest of the MIDI controller. I´ve been in contact with Doepfer, since I find it a bit hard to sort out which of their DIY MIDI controller products will work for 44 note Fatar keybeds. It seems to be hard for them to giv...

Re: Building a MIDI controller

No, I´m in Sweden. The problem is I don´t even get to choose shipping method. There is no place on the screen to write it down or any options to choose from.
All I want is two keybeds!!!!!!

Re: Building a MIDI controller

I´ve spent two Days trying to order those keybeds now. First I got no reply when I tried to start an account. Today, the keybeds were about 10£ cheaper when I opened the homepage. Therefore, I even squeezed in some time during lunch to order them. I got stuck on step 2 in the ordering process, thoug...

Re: Building a MIDI controller

I saw them, but waited too long. Suddenly, Three out of four were sold, and I think its best to buy both at once.

Minmoog pitch wheel

Nothing on the forum about getting a spring for the pitch wheel or how to adjust the pitch range on a Minimoog model D?

Re: My (and Your) Favorite Minimoog Solos

Perhaps not expected from Opus, but they deliver one of the best solos I´ve ever heard. Not too much and very melodic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvgHRChln6o Also, for those of you who like the nose-sounds. Rainbows Tarot woman, three Minimoogs mastered by Tony Carey. http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Building a MIDI controller

Just got a Kenton Pro Solo MkII for my modular. Later on, I´ll get a second one. You see, I´m going to build a double 44 key MIDI controller. As it looks, I´m buying the keybeds from Keyparts and the rest from Doepfer. Do you know if there are any alternatives?
