Hopefully it is the pre-1967 version. But the "Penny Lane" reference makes me think it will be the later "Faul" variant, which used cheaper components. Maybe you'll be able to switch between them?

I was under the impression that the Theremini sound generation was entirely software-based. But on the Moog website it says that, when pitch-correction is disabled, it uses the heterodyning oscillator. So is it essentially a traditional analog theremin with the Animoog software as an added bonus? T...
