Re: Ensoniq VFX SD service manual
Ensoniq approach to repair was to flip faulty boards for spares. So their is limited knowledge and docs out there. You can work through the schematics however and try to isolate problems trial/error

Re: Novation Bass Station vs. Waldorf Pulse
I actually really like the Matrix control on the Pulse 2 as it neatly compartmentalises various functions and the unit is so compact. if you have a Waldorf XT (I have an XTK) all the controls are mapped without any intervention. Also there is a really cool standalone controller for the Pulse 2, whic...

Re: E-MU Sampler as a Mellotron substitute?
Clavia Nord has some great Mellotron samples for the Nord Wave and they're approved by Mellotron. I think you can use them in the Nord Stage.

Checked the cables with my multi meter I don't think its the cable as it occurs pretty randomly and particu...

Re: Waldorf Q digital out @ 48k?
i'm not sure about clock stability either. I think it only works as master and it does seem to lose clock and causes some pops. Anyone else experience this? When it works it sounds much better than the analog outs.

Re: Waldorf Q digital out @ 48k?
hi,
manual doesn't refer to 48khz mode nor does addendum.
Can't find 48khz mode in global settings either so i think its fixed to 44.1khz and the spec on VSE is wrong.

hi david,
did you discover the answer to this? I just wished to know myself without digging into the manual.
