Re: "Wet" sound

cutoff down resonance up is what i do for bass lines. but i just cant seem to find that "sweet" spot for a wet/bubbly/what ever sound on a minibrute. im thinking it has to do more with the filter? thats why i ask if a pedal could do the trick.. as for the jx3p it could make really awesome sounds jus...

Re: "Wet" sound

I guess when I think of "Roland" and "wet/liquid" I think of the squelchy but clean resonance (as compared to something like the MS-20 filters) - what most people think of as "acid" 303-type sounds, only with a gentler, less emphasized resonance. No idea if that's what the OP means, but the filter ...

"Wet" sound

i was wondering if there is a pedal that would be good making a 80's-90's roland wet/liquid type sound?
mode machines has the F-106 pedal..http://www.thomann.de/gb/mode_machines_ ... filter.htm
has anyone ever used it??

thanks!

Re: Minibrute Vs. Microbrute

i would only buy the microbrute is money is a factor. micro is instance fun but minibrute has more going on with it.the two envelopes are a must have.

Re: Casio RZ-1 Faulty (Some sounds aren't working)

i have a rz-1 that acts up as well. some times i get no sound at all and the screen is blank. when that happens i found a "sweet spot" that i hit with my fist one time and it works like normal. other times tom 3 interferes with the bass drum. it was a while of me using it before this ever happened. ...

Re: Waldorf Pulse or Minibrute?

i use my minibrute for alot of things. bass/leads/effects. its my go to synth. i can use it for acid/house/techno tracks then for industrial/noise stuff. im really a fan of the filter/amp envelopes. very well rounded. hook it up to a sequencer for major fun!
