Ahh I see.. Just bypass the bs and call eBay and explain the situation, i.e. someone with no feedback or credentials is trying to buy your expensive instrument and wants it shipped out to a boarded up rental property.

The Waldorf Q family does a good job as well. The AN1x is another good one. For some reason the Ion didn't really jive with me, it was my first synth. One of these days I'll have to revisit it.

The only way I'd sell an expensive item to a new low feedback member is with cash, then they can't try to pull any kind of b.s. with PayPal.

I play with both hands and I prefer actual analogue for my analogue sounds, but I have no problem with having a VA that covers the entire spectrum of analogue type sounds in one unit either. Perhaps KORG will come up with something soon.. I think I may have misunderstood your quote into thinking yo...

I'd open it up and make sure the battery hasn't exploded, if it still looks ok you can check out the voltage with a multi-meter to determine if it needs replaced or not.
