Just bought an Alesis Nanosynth and need to find an editor for Mac.
I tried installing MidiQuest, but I'm not finding a way to actually view patch info (perhaps it's because I only have the DEMO version!?)
Any insight would be really appreciated.

Re: KORG - TRITON TAKTILE - UPDATE
OK, had this thing for a month or whatever, so now I can be clearer: This unit has loads of great features, and is very portable. You could pretty much pop it in a backpack and go to a jam session - it's that light and small. I'm not going to list the wonderful features here - Korg does that on the...

Yes, he's just asked me to return it.
I'm unsure if I can send it collect - I'll be checking that out.

Re: Ebay scam risk?
...THE SELLER NOW MUST PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING OUT OF THEIR POCKET if they want the item back! Can you clarify for me? I just bought something, band new, full packaging - but found it defective (probably from the manufacturer). It was offered with free shipping. How is it that I can expect the S...

Re: Alternatives to eBay
Anyone know of good alternatives to eBay for selling ? I'd like to not deal with their BS anymore, but also be able to sell items. I have stuff on Craigslist / Amazon, but sometimes I feel like they don't get as much exposure as an online site focused on used stuff (that's my biggest issue with Ama...

Re: Ebay scam risk?
So I guess all the good synth deals on eBay is off-limits to someone like me, who never sold or bought anything off ebay, then. ANOTHER TRICK ...that some bastards use on Ebay: Say you're selling a synth for $1000 on EBay Another dude is selling the same synth for $1500. You are creating a shitty s...

Re: KORG - TRITON TAKTILE - review
Strictly from physical attributes, I was checking it out at a music store the other day. Feels really plastic-ky and wobbly. Pads felt uninspiring. I did not had the opportunity to sound it though. If that is not a dummy set, I do not think it is good at all :geek: I should qualify that I tried it ...

Re: KORG - TRITON TAKTILE - review
Is it esentially a preset box with no editing functionality? Kind of like the Oberheim M1000 but with a keyboard? Never heard of this thing before..I liked the Triton sound. That's right. I guess it's great for beginners or someone?? Frustrating, because it's SO close to being a really hot little i...

KORG - TRITON TAKTILE - review
Just picked one of these up, and I figured that many of you haven't played one yet. 4 versions - 2 with 512 TRITON sounds onboard, and 2 w/o. (2 keyboard sizes) I picked up the TRITON version, in a 49 key. It has something insane like 80 note polyphony!? Who doesn't like that. There are some very us...

ACCESSible VIRUS - clarification
I am currently mixing up my gear - buying and selling to keep it fresh. Just wondering about the ACCESS VIRUS series: I have been checking out the odd used TI - I understand the appeal of having digital audio avail through the USB port - an obvious thumbs up. I know that the Virus is one of the most...

Re: BEST LIGHTS?? (Let's face it - lights is good?!)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LE0oGkYx40 I'm looking forward to the arrival of my System-1 ...it and the TR-8 are the most lit pieces of gear I've ever owned. and they aren't synths but my controller setup consisting of a Push, an APC40 and set of AudioCubes is very blinky. Yeah, if you're into ...

BEST LIGHTS?? (Let's face it - lights is good?!)
What's your favourite synth - based on just the lights - seriously!! For me: • that KingKorg looks pretty funky at start up • I just bought a 'Korgasm Radi-ass' - lots of illumination there - trippy • I used to love the little 'test sequence' on my old MemoryMoog! (that could trigger an epileptic fi...

V Synth question
I'm sitting here, trying to make some decisions on changing up my gear. I live in the middle of NowHere, (remote mountains in Canada) and I don't have the ability to go to a store and play with hardware to compare. I get a lot of insight here, and on YTube. One of the pieces of kit up for considerat...
