The Ensoniq VFX (and probably other models in that lineage) can edit scales/intonation on a per-patch basis, at the expense of two "parts" (or whatever the h**l they're called)--the remaining four are usually more than enough. No, the DX7-II was discontinued years ago. But they're built like tanks, so you shouldn't have too much trouble lining up one in good shape. It doesn't do Scala files, unless there's a converter out there somewhere. Which parameter of the enveloppe does the midi note length affect?

I noticed that if i put a very short sustain the note length seems more effective am i right?
