The Ensoniq VFX (and probably other models in that lineage) can edit scales/intonation on a per-patch basis, at the expense of two "parts" (or whatever the h**l they're called)--the remaining four are usually more than enough. No, the DX7-II was discontinued years ago. But they're built like tanks, so you shouldn't have too much trouble lining up one in good shape. It doesn't do Scala files, unless there's a converter out there somewhere. The presets are "Equal Temperament," "Pure (Major)," "Pure (Minor)," "Mean tone," "Pythagorean," "Werckmeister," "Kirnberger," "Vallotti & Young," "1/4 Shifted equal," "1/4 Tone," and "1/8 Tone," and you can also have two us...

Which parameter of the enveloppe does the midi note length affect?
I noticed that if i put a very short sustain the note length seems more effective am i right?
