Re: Sequencing Synth Drums

Have you asked Arturia this question? Their technical staff is actually pretty helpful. I think, like the keystep, the beatstep pro has a control center ( need to access via computer) that allows one to customize many of the settings.

Re: Moog DFAM

That video was awesome. I watched it three times in a row and am already trying to figure out a way to finance one of my own. Some of the coolest electronic percussion sounds I've ever heard. Yeah! Musical ideas instantly started popping off. Already inspired by the creative possibilities of the DF...

Moog DFAM

That's it- selling my Drumbrute ($400 near mint a/box + registration, if anyone wants it) and buying a DFAM. Just watched the teaser video they put out featuring 3 different artist's making sounds with it and I really like what I hear.

On the same note= "Roland JV-880 RACK SOUND MIDI MODULE PIANO ORGAN STRINGS A problem arose when the expansion card was removed. The Performance patches disappeared and the editing buttons stopped responding. Good news is that all the module's sounds still work fine and sound great. There three bank...

Roland D-10

Hey everyone, Recently bought a patch bay off a Craigslist fella, and found a Roland D-10 sitting in his storage space winking at me. He says he'll sell it for $100 ( which means I can talk him down). I looked online and I think it's kind of an awesome synth. That said, I already have a Korg DW8000,...

Re: Volca FM- technical issues.

Thanks for the response. Yes, I have tried all of those things, as well as doing a factory reset ( one of the power-up functions) and the problems persist. I read that Korg has an update available for the FM, considering seeing if that may help. First, wondering if anyone else was trouble shooting s...

Re: Which synthesizer(s) do you regret getting or selling

More than buying or selling, I most of all regret my drunk neighbor spilling Henessy all over the fully loaded MPC 60 II my best friend had just given me. It was such a drag to tell him. When I moved out of the city, I gave it back to him, he got it serviced and was doing some really cool double MPC...

Volca FM- technical issues.

Hello, My Volca Fm is suddenly no longer polyphonic, the arp does not work, and the sequencer is not functioning at all. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions? Plugging in a Arturia keystep via midi I can play polyphonically and play arps. So that is something at least. I did a factory reset,...

Re: Is this a hoax?

The demo video I saw must have had the 16 channel splitter, hence my confusion with individual outs. The video came up on my phones newsfeed one morning as I was getting ready for work in the summer and I hadn't tracked a link down again until now. Looks like he didn't meet his fixed goal on indiego...

Re: Opinion: Best or favorite Midiverb?

I had a Nanoverb in the late 90's, it had so much hiss I couldn't even use it with my 4 track cassette recorder, I was not being picky, either, I was doing really lofi stuff at the time. I was never sure if it was just that unit that was noisy or if all Nanoverb spoke parsaltongue ( Harry potter ref...

Re: Behringer about to release six (!) new synths

Ok...blah blah blah...glitch... Blah...

What I don't understand is how could Behringer put out an MS-20, Curtis chip or 808 clone, for example, without being sued? I understand that the Model D became fair game because Moog snafu-ed but this list?

Re: Your latest musical purchase

Got a Streichfett the other day, it's really nice. Bigger than I was expecting, I'm so used to Euro sized stuff now. Almost pulled the trigger on an Analog Keys that was at a great price but I stopped myself. Ditto a Mirage for a stupidly low price. Oooooooowwwhhhh! I want one, too! Are you slaying...
