the box will have to go in the cargo space of the plane, and the loaders don't have time to be careful with packages, they just throw stuff in there and sort it by weight inside. Same thing on the receiving end, unloading can be harsh for heavy packages.

Someone mentioned Banks from Genesis before; there are all kinds of great Synclavier parts on the 1983 album, "Second Home By The Sea" comes to mind (great lead tone) and "Silver Rainbow" has some trippy digital synth stuff happening on it. I don't know the tone of a Synclavier that well; very hard ...

No, sadly it makes no difference - an external trigger doesn't reset the LFO either, which I'm pretty sure it should, so that's probably a good place to start looking. I just hope Korg hasn't deviated too far from the original circuit - tracing it all back with SMDs is going to be a PITA, especially...
