Re: My music (opinions)
Thanks for sharing. It's tough to get people to listen, these days. Comments are often harsh or dishonest. We all need to be constructive to be successful. The music has a great 80's type vibe. Well done! Really like the feel. The Autotune style vocals. They are an artistic choice. Do they work with...

Re: Replacing a floppy in an EPS rackmount
Have a close look at the floppy drives. I revived my Mirage Drive with a good cleaning. the arbor that spins the disk had a very small amount of dust wrapped around it. Causing just enough tension to keep it from spinning up properly. Some of the older drives also so had plug connections that can be...

Re: 1st Synthesizer advice, am I looking at the right synths?
Moog & Sequential make some really fine instruments. They can be pricey, too! Most of what I buy is used, vintage. So, a lot of my research is in headphones on youtube. What you really don't get from this may be how its going to fit into your workflow. Sometimes, the videos are so few that you don't...

Just picked up a K2000rs
What a learning curve! I suppose that's what you get for such a powerful machine. I'm digging in, trying to go through everything methodically. I'm starting to wrap my head around it. I've done a little sampling & some program tweaking. It's an amazing sounding machine. I'm watching instructional Vi...

Re: EPS 16+ how do I make a single key transpose to the entire keyboard
It's a great machine! I understand the fear. I use my old machines quite a bit. Always fear the that one time I'll it the switch & they'll just not work. Fortunately they are rising in value. The cost of repair is not wasted money. That's the Glass Half Full point of view

Re: EPS 16+ how do I make a single key transpose to the entire keyboard
If I read you right, I'd delete the other sounds in the patch. Reset the keyboard range & save it under a different name. Then yo'll have the full keyboard as that instrument & be able to call it up without destroying the original patch.

Re: How to sample drums?
One of my projects is a punk band. The Drummer & Bass Player/Singer sent me a rehearsal recording. you know, "set your phone on the floor & just let it roll" kind of recording. The drums were completely garbage, distorted. The rest of it was slightly better. I had fun with it, in my old samplers. Ad...

I hadn't thought of that. Seems a bit extreme. Especially with noone biting.

Re: The 2600
I don't know what's going on lately. People have been listing stuff at incredibly high prices. Maybe its the solitary time at home??? I've been looking to buy some accessories for my equipment. In a couple instances people have been listing things for twice the price, sometimes way more, than they w...
