On another note to reload the system software can that only be done by floppy or could it done over Midi?

quadrasynth the first one

i have an Alesis Quadraverb s5 LCD issue the letters were fading.. Pulling it out to check connecttion on the LCD and now no display on LCD. Keyboard does play well but no display. Any one know where to get a reasonable replacement?
