Hey guys!
Did anyone have any luck with the Roland RS-9 service notes?
Cheers!

Juno 6 'voice' issue
Howdy! I'm restoring an old Juno 6 at the mo - thanks for all of the help thus far! I have now rebuilt the PSU, and it's now all working bar one voice (voice 3). When I scope/meter Voice 3 at TP4 (in Test Mode UP - Hold engaged - Note A4) it's not appearing. This led me to check the schematics aroun...

Roland Juno 6 PSU
Hey guys!
Anybody know off the top of their heads how much current a Juno 6 pulls? Just a quick question, before I go opening stuff up...
Cheers!

Re: Jupiter-4 restoration... thoughts?
I'm thinking of recapping my JP-4... I've already done the power supply, and solved the dodgy 'track crack' issue in the control boards. I also desoldered every fader, cleaned it out, re-tensioned it, rebuilt it and measured it again, before resoldering. Took ages, but thoroughly worth it. What bran...

Re: Dead Dx7II
Hey there! As db0451 has said - if you're not sure about tinkering - DON'T do anything - and always make sure the AC plug has been removed from the wall socket... There's a T1.25A fuse on the left of the power regulator board (it should be labeled) that could have popped. These fuses mostly look lik...

Wanted: Jupiter 4 Tuning Knob & Manual Mode Cap (Yellow)
Howdy again folks!
On the lookout for the following two items:
- Jupiter 4 'Tuning' skirted knob - 19mm size
- Jupiter 4 'Manual' mode selector switch cap - Yellow
I know they are pretty rare, but any help would be appreciated after a lengthy search online...

Jupiter 4 Noise Issue
Howdy folks! I was lucky enough to get a hold of a JP-4 a while back. She was in a terrible state - near dead. I managed to restore the power supply (all electrolytics and regulators changed), I cleaned the key contacts, solved a bizarre grounding issue on the control boards, desoldered, opened up a...
