Minilogue Stereo Experiment

I wanted to see how far I could push the Korg Minilogue, and this is what I came up with :) Hope you enjoy it!

Prophet 6 Vs. Moog Slim Phatty - Oscillator Comparison

Hey guys,

I made a video comparing an oscillator of my Prophet 6 to an oscillator from my Slim Phatty using my ears, an oscilloscope, and a spectrometer. Hope you enjoy it!

Later I'm going to compare the filters :)

Re: I made a rainstorm/set of patches for the TX81z

The dripping sounds are seriously so cool! Never heard anything like it before, they're so static-y and crazy sounding. Way to go!!

Modern sounds with a Prophet 6 & Poly 800

Hey guys, I wrote this song with my prophet 6 and poly 800. Hope you like it! https://soundcloud.com/syntheticworld859/hal Let me know if you have any questions-- or suggestions, about the production and/or patches. I've been working on achieving higher quality audio from my home setup :) It's hard ...

Re: Prophet-6 V OB-6 ?

I've tried both and own a Prophet 6. They're different enough that I'd really consider buying an OB-6 if I had 3k to spare :D I honestly loved them both and was really torn when choosing between them. As mentioned before, the OB-6 has a 12db filter, but another difference is that the sub oscillator ...

Cranked, Modded Poly 800

Here's a track I made with this Poly 800 I found with some kind of crazy modification on it. It has the Moog slayer mod, but it also has this random knob that seems to be some sort of overload circuit, which really warms it up! In large amounts it turns all patches into explosions though. The leads ...

Re: Dave Smith Instrument Rev2 demo

Great patch! I like the soft version better, since the warbling is a little more subdued. The filter sweep was exciting too

Re: Synth you'd buy again if...

I have a serious emotional connection to my Korg Minilogue. It actually got damaged during a gig (guitar player knocked it off the stand, and it landed right on the power jack), and I almost cried. But it's getting fixed. I would've bought another one if I wasn't so worried about keeping all my patc...

Re: Your latest musical purchase

My mountain momma! http://i64.tinypic.com/e7z2bl.jpg So far I've made about 30 patches on it. It's amazingly versatile, and my new go-to workhorse. But I really want to replace the knobs with something bigger. Also it can be humbling when I can't make something sound quite right...no more excuses li...
