Re: Analog Real Time Editing On a Budget

Sorry I forgot to be specific, I am more in the market for a polyphonic synth, and I'm not too keen on the sound of the Minilogue, or it's key size

My ...

Good hardware samplers under/around $150 USD?

Re: Roland Alpha Juno 2 vs Ensoniq ESQ-1 (vs Moog Sub 37)

For ambient, none of them have reverb or delay onboard which is the key to most ambient sounds. I don't have to worry about that, have a good reverb pedal hooked up to an amp. Also, I've heard some complaints on the Ensoniq having trouble with being in tune, is this a rare occurrence or is this som...

Roland Alpha Juno 2 vs Ensoniq ESQ-1

Looking for a synth that can range from thick, trippy analog sounds to nice ambient sounds. Think MPP era Animal Collective, Battles, especially on their "Gloss Drop" album, or Phaedra by Tangerine Dream. I'd like analog however I still like the sound of the Ensoniq. Price range is around $600, whic...

Analog/Hybrid synth recommendations?

Looking for a good synth for more lead, higher in the mix stuff, I'd like it to be analog or hybrid, nothing fully digital. Here are some songs with synth sounds that have my interest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAyADMSppaw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nTxbRyRMnY https://www.youtube.com/wat...
