Sync MIDI clock

Hi everyone! I’m struggling with syncing my whole gear. I got Korg Electribe 2 Sampler, Korg Electribe EA-1 and Arturia MicroBrute connected via MIDI (from OUT to IN, from THRU to IN respectively) and E2S, Volca Keys and Volca Bass connected via sync outputs (from OUT to IN, from OUT to IN respectiv...

Electribe ES-1 vs Electribe 2 Sampler

Hi everyone! I'm looking to buy a sampler and I've always liked the Electribe series. Can anyone help me with some pros and cons of these two units? In my gear I already have the Electribe EA-1, the Volca trio (Beats, Bass and Keys), the Arturia Microbrute and a couple of Korg Kaossilators too and w...

Thanks a lot for the info, if I’ll decide to get the unit I think I’ll definitely look for a card then.

Korg Electribe ES-1 Smart Media Card

Hi! I’m having a look at the Korg Electribe ES-1 and I had some questions about the Smart Media Card. First of all is it necessary to have one to use and play with the unit? What are the things you can do with it and can’t do without it? What are the specs it needs to have in order to suit the ES-1?...

Re: Buying all 6 Volcas

You don’t need to buy them all in order to be operative but I wouldn’t say they’re completely interchangeable either. They’re instruments designed to work great together with the aim of creating a mini studio which can give you most of the possibilities out there but they’re also stand alone instrum...

Re: Sync gear without pc

Thank you for your answer. I heard most of the thigs you told me but wasn’t sure it worked as I thought. I put the Tascam in the list just to be as accurate as I could but that is the one instrument I wouldn’t put in the chain so I’ll stick to the others. Regarding the rest of the gear you would adv...

Sync gear without pc

Hi everyone! I’m new to the forum so... I’m trying to figure out some stuff and wanted to ask someone’s help. I’ve recently expanded my gear with synths and stuff (I’d like to keep things strictly hardware so there’s no pc, DAW and so on involved) and I’d like to play with all of my instruments, or ...
