Re: Juno 106 Loud Key Help!!!
Could potentially be the calibration of one of the voices. Look at the service manual and put it into test mode (Hold Key transpose and turn power on). There is a cyclic option for one of the test modes, so each time you press a single key it will cycle through each voice 1-6 in order. Which ever nu...

Germanium diode replacement
Does anyone know what I could use as a modern equivalent to replace a OA 95 diode in an envelope generator. Numerous google searches aren't coming up with much.

Digisound 80 Capacitor Voltage ratings
I'm building some synth modules based on the digisound 80 series and in the manuals, it doesn't state the voltage rating needed for capacitors besides in the power supply. Each module requires +/- 15V, would anyone happen to know the minimum voltage rating I can use, I know I can go above as long as...

DIY Modular Synth help
I'm making some analogue modular synth modules for my dissertation at university. It is going to be rather basic consisting of 2 oscillators, an LFO, filter, VCA and EG. Radiohead Climbing up the walls synth bass patch
Does anyone know how to get a similar sound the the synth bass as heard in Radiohead climbing up the walls? I assumed it was filter modulation, but it seems to reset every note. Does the envelope need to be modulated also?

Analogue Polyphonic Synth Recommendations
Hi, I'm looking at buying an analogue polyphonic synth and I have a budget of around £1300. So far I am considering the Dave Smith Prophet Rev 2 and the korg prologue. I preferred the Prophets features/layout (even though they're pretty similar) but it lacked the bass the Korg had. I have considered...

Re: Beginners Synth Setup
Depends on what you mean by "a complete home setup." If you want you could go all the way and get professional gear, but if you're just going to be, say, recording one track at a time into a DAW, all you really need is a decent ADC or proper sound card (don't use your computer's onboard audio hardw...

Beginners Synth Setup
I am going to buy my first analogue synth pretty soon, likely a Korg Minilogue, but I'm wondering what else I will need to have a complete home setup? i.e. speakers, DI, mixer etc. Any recommendations would be a great help too!
Cheers.
