Re: Finding a replacement LED for an ART SGE Mach II effects process

hi,
If some of the bars don't light up not for the reason of a bad soldering contact, but a bad led display, rarely seen it, the better way is to replace the all Led number displays due to possible very different brightness of segments of the different displays.

Re: Germanium diode replacement

Hi,
Some people suggest using a 1N34A as a substitute for the OA95.
A germanium diode 1N34A has lower voltage range - 65 volts, but current parameters are similar for both of them. Your schematic may be used with the 24 to 30 volts maximum, I think.

Hi,
That's right, I think.
Pin out on the polivoks side are signal to 1 or 3 pins , 2 pin is for signal ground. as seen in

Re: External input to Polivoks

Is it safe to feed the input of a DX7 into the “input” of a Polivoks? There is a five pin DIN input on the Polivoks that goes into the filter. I just wanted to ask about this, I don’t won’t to fry anything A five pin Din input for the Polivoks goes into Analog signal mixer, through a pin 10 in the ...

Re: Connecting an analog sensor to an eurorack synth

Hi, You need a some Ribbon controller for connecting from a soft pot or a pressure ribbon, I think. As possible example for it : https://www.gearnews.com/ribbon-controller-stroking-eurorack-synthrotek/ . There are a lot of DiY ribbon controllers schematics on the net, too. From Ian Fritz, from the E...

Re: Now I can play my cz101 at night...

Hi,
The Cz 101 schematics from the service manual shows a Contrast variable resistor VR3 10K. Saw it some where on the pcb near the 14 - pin LCD socket.
