I had the same thing on a roland unit... darn roady did not get the in and out thing on amps and gear!! 40+ volts on a 25 volt cap!! they do not stand that very long!! I recapped the output and replaced the final drive chip in both sides to match. worked perfect then!! I would signal trace the unit ...

try the restore to factory function.

a good virgin silicone lube works. try dielectric grease. any good auto parts store will have it. avoid spray type as there are other chems in there to make it spray.. those chems can melt the plastic. crc makes some good stuff. I use versachem VersaChem Dielectric Connector Grease Part # 15339 Line...

sounds to me like a lot of GM sounds... so are you wanting to recreate these tracks??? look at gm modules first... if you are looking for recreation.... I would start with an integra7... and you can select bit loss to get the old sound... or use roland sc55 units!! use a o scope and spectrum analyze...

try an fs1r Yamaha! so are you looking for a modern 61 to 88 keyboard to work with a full modular setup?? there are midi to cva control modules that will go both ways in the euro racks!! as far as good midi key beds... I like roland... some like Yamaha... but I do own the m3m keybeds as well!! an 88 as well as an 61 ke...

ha yup almost as good as showing wave form!! I would just search for the midi file for the song in question.... or do it old school with a modern recorder... now days you can slow down a song and keep the pitch!! protools has an add on that work well. or just find can do it by ear to midi for you!! ...
