Re: Quasimidi Sirius Help
Did you factory reset properly? If I remember right, I probably don't, but that would happen if you didn't complete it by not calibrating the pitch wheel during the reset. You have to calibrate the pitch wheel and complete the reset. If you are still having troubles, perhaps contact Jorg Schaaf over...

Re: Yamaha FS1R dead?
Also, if you can open it up and look at the 16v capacitors, and if they say A1P 47 16v on them then they may be leaking and gone bad. There may be some other numbered caps with same issue but I know that particular cap number off hand. Yamaha had a bad batch of them around this era and I am hearing ...

http://www.vintagesynth.com/articles/five-free-daws-windows-mac I also like and use Magix Music Maker, kind of recently became a free version too: https://www.magix.com/us/music/music-maker/ Also, if it is just the file name length then just copy the file over to a newer computer, if you can find a...

Re: Oberheim Matrix1000 no longer receives Pitch Bend?
Some synths need the pitch and mod wheels calibrated (in a diagnostic or test mode) before they work after a factory reset, does it need that done to it or the controller?

Re: JP-8000 Strange Behavior (Or perhaps just me)
Try factory reset? Have latest firmware on it? JP-8000 had ghost edit issues with overly touchy controls that a firmware update I thought was supposed to help and stop all kinds of strange issues. There is a thread around here with more JP-8000 firmware update info. if you haven't seen yet. I don't ...

Re: ARP Odyssey 1 power probs
Did you actually take the old ones out :P Did you look at the caps and see they said 15V and not 30V? Maybe they gave you the wrong voltage caps. I've heard larger voltage caps are not supposed to hurt in most electronics, but I am thinking if it is coming out of the main power supply perhaps that c...

Re: Non-ideal square waves
Not sure this applies to your questions, but I tried to do some sampled PWM a while back using sampled squares, and I noticed even the "perfect" digitally generated tone was not perfect, then looks pretty perfect imported tho, played back analog outs the end result could barely be seen as anything u...

Make it 3 measures long and triple the tempo/bpms. Does it have a beat stretch or beat divide function on it? Turn it up to 300. Just ideas to try.

Re: Start Korg MS2000 Arpeggiator external
Sorry I don't know about that, does sound like a bug if you know your midi wires are connected good and or you are not lagging from sending too much midi to it. You could be in a midi feedback loop, turn midi Echo Back to off, or it might be on, switch it to other way if either of your synths/contro...

I don't have my ms2000 anymore to test, but looking at the manual pg 53 it looks like Page 1: GLobal > Position set to PreTG might do it?
