Re: Waldorf Pulse 2 - working unit at MusikMesse

Does anyone know what's up with the price on this thing? Every press release I read says that it is supposed to be€461/$610 but the online retailers that are carrying it have it priced at $799.99...Anyone know what the actual price is supposed to be?

Re: Synth repair in or around the New England area?

By using the very same magical device I posted this from I found what seems to be a very useful interweb based information gathering website called www.google.com from there I did find: newenglandanalog.com
However, Does anyone know of any others?

Now now No need to get testy gentlemen, I appreciate the resources posted for future G.A.S explosions

I'm leaning heavily to the kraftzwerg...the asr env in the Leipzig weirds me out.

I'd like to rename this thread to: Modern semi-Analog synths for around $800 8-)

Re: Modern analog beasts for under $1000

Wow..mind=blown! With all these viable analog options why is there a market for knobless VA synths? I really do love my blofelds sounds but I'm pretty sure I can get most of the same textures from massive or if I wanted to I could get the software version. As far as the MFB stuff I remember someone ...

Modern analog beasts for under $1000

I've been spending a lot of time figuring out my work flow lately and streamlining the way that I write music and as a result am streamlining my gear and I am coming to the conclusion that any outboard synths I have should A: be pure analog and/or B: very hands on because otherwise I always seem to ...

New England synth museum-Does anyone know the status of it?

I am on vacation in Vermont right now and I'm I'm going to be driving home through New Hampshire in a few days. I planned on visiting the NESM on the way home..something I had been meaning to do for the past few years since I live south of Boston but I just never got around to it. Doing some researc...

Re: Native Instruments Maschine

Yo JS, Do you know if you can hook up an external drum controller to it? I know you can hook up an external keyboard to play samples like that but I was thinking about picking up maschine and an alesis controlpad so I can bang out beats with drum sticks as well, any idea if this is possible? I kind ...

Re: How much should I sell my little phatty for...

after doing some research and picking out the synth I want to replace it with I decided that I am willing to let it go for $750..I know I could get a bit more for it but I'd rather sell it quicker and get my new synth quicker. I'll post a proper add for it in the for sale forum when I take pictures ...

Re: How much should I sell my little phatty for...

$650 is stupid! I mean who ever bought that got a h**l of a deal that's pretty much half off.

More realistically seems to be around $800..I wonder if I could get a decent virus for that price.

How much should I sell my little phatty for...

I can't search ebay used auctions because I owe them like $60 for something sold a while ago. I am going to sell my little phatty (stage edition few months old w/box and everything it comes with new) because I only use it to mess around on and never on any of my tracks it's an awesome synth and soun...

Re: Virus b/c or Waldorf Blofeld for these sounds

you need to stop looking for things based on genre and just get a f**k synth and program it the way you want it the user defines the synth, not the genre I beg to differ, some synths just can't do certain sounds and I don't mean because of what they are capable of in terms of specs I mean every syn...
