I have a battery back-up pluged into that and a rack mounted Furman Power conditioner (model m-8L) plugged i...

Re: Analog Copression for electronic music
I always suggest the FMR RNC. http://www.fmraudio.com/rnc.htm it runs about $200. I have one and love it, I may get another. here's what their site has to say: RNC OVERVIEW The RNC is a high-fidelity, stereo compressor intended to provide dynamic range control with minimal side effects. The RNC achi...

Are you daisy chaining them at the moment or are you using a MIDI patch-bay or splitter?

Re: What got you into synths?
I got into synths by first becoming a DJ. I found playing other people's music kinda boring so then I started adding samples to my sets (I got a Boss SP-202) I saw the funny 5 pin connector on the back and curiosity drove me to figure out what that was. from there I got a few old drum machines (727 ...

Re: What is the stupidest accident you've had with you gear?
The stupidest thing I ever did was I started unplugging cables from my mixer with my monitor's still on and the mains faders still up, Blew out my right monitor. took me a few seconds to figure out that it was gone too but the mix just didn't sound right.
learned my lesson tho.

learned my lesson tho.

Re: E-MU Proteus 1000/2000/Command-Station owners...
you need to slide that knob off and spray de-oxit under the metal bit at the stem, see pic below from the XL7 users group at yahoo groups. you may need to spin the stem and let it dry for a bit. Should work like a charm. I had this problem about a year and a half ago, this fixed it right up. just re...

Re: Just starting out in MIDI some of my kit listed
I'd suggest that you do this in steps. step one : get the controller keyboard PC180 controlling the software instruments that come with Ableton Live or other VSTis. step two : connect the EA-1 MK2 get that running as a master MIDI clock for Live and have the two run together synched. Then try using ...

Re: Small Mixers And Synths
At first I though that the photographer had used the wrong F-stop but then I figured it out . . . there is no lava lamp in that studio. Now if someone posted the question what would you change about this studio . . . . then the original poster would seem like less on an @$$&%(#. If there were an aud...

Actually it is 4 sequencers but you use sequencer 2-4 sorta like LFOs except it is a sequence rather than wave.
