Re: Patch website (idea -vote after reading)

Great idea.
Personally,I think a server would be more appropriate (ftp, or whatever client...) to stock sysex files / download and upload it. It should be moderate by members. I can host if needed !

Re: EII Owners: Reliability issues - The Horrible Truth

I can't check the version software right now (some health problem, my emu is not at home...) I was in L.A earlier that year and bought it there (it's the original, not an upgrade). Shiping to europe was as expensive as the beast itself... I love it. I'm curious to hear you about the differences/oppo...

Re: EII Owners: Reliability issues - The Horrible Truth

I don't think mine is an earlier version, since it's a II+HD model, but I can be wrong. Next step is to change my SE/30 internal battery (wich is dead and could be an issue for the serial port ?) + check the serial cable + check the chips and sockets as explained by hideawaystudio... (my EII was shi...

LED backlight

As I got older 8) , I would like to have much brighter screens on my expanders... (even brighter than a screen with new foil). Led backlight seems to be an interesting option. If some genius could make it work, I'm sure we'll be a lot of people very interesting here ! Please post your gear name and ...

Re: EII Owners: Reliability issues - The Horrible Truth

Interesting article, thanks... :D
can't get mine working with my "new" apple SE/30 and sound designer. (serial port issue ?)
By now I'm limited with the 40 internal sounds of the HD...
I really love the sound & feel of the EII !

WTB Roland SH2000 parts (Tabs)

I've got 4 tabs broken in the meddle of my SH2000 that I'd like to be changed (the reds and the whites). If by chance someone here have SH2000 parts to sell or exchange, please contact me. I'm in the process of getting my lovely SH2000 serviced and looking good. I guess the tabs are the same on SH10...

Rob answered me. I'm waiting for the cable & cd now. I have an 4Go scsi from the 20th century... I keep you informed as soon as it's all set ! No prob, good luck getting it all up and working. Which external SCSI HD have you acquired? Would fancy picking up a compatible one myself. Rob at Emulator A...

Re: Emu Emulator II Drives, Floppies & Sound Designer.

Thanks again for your support JMP. I'm going to have a mac SE/30 to get sound designer working + external scsi CD + external scsi HD. I'm waiting for the emu cable, but I didn't get an answer from the guy yet. I'm highly interested to get other sd banks for emu II ! (downloads ? CD ? ) I love the bl...
