Re: Synclavier Buying Tips
I think the point was more if you talk to them, it might give you ideas of things to look for/vs price points.Ned Bouhalassa wrote:Thanks a lot for the suggestion, but I live in Canada, and have an opportunity to pick one up 20 min from my house. I'm not dying to get one, so I wouldn't order one built for me.

Re: Would you buy a CS80 if re-released?

Uploaded a bunch of new songs to my soundcloud
I uploaded a bunch of new (actually mostly old) songs to my sound cloud page. Some are synth demos and some are actual tracks. Stop by, have a listen and say hi.. Hope you enjoy.

The last one I recieved I did a mild restoration on it as it was not working (had the PSU rebuilt, tuned, replaced a lot of the chips that were dead, etc). This is a sound clip I did of it the day I was finished sort o...

Same reason a 40 year old Gibson guitar could go for $15000 compared to a new one, and the same reason a 57 corvette is worth lots more than a new one. :-/

For around $1000 I would've suggested tracking down a CS-30 or Pro-one

New Sonic Arts Granite
Anyone use this granular synth? I'm loving it so far. So far it's one of my two favorite soft synths. (This and Aalto).

We have a winner. Buchla 200e. All the sound came right from the 261e oscillator.
