Re: 4 monitors configuration
Thanks Stab... I thought the "Help" forum is for anyone who has a question and need help beyond synths. The whole concept of sub-forums is highly subjective as you know well.Stab Frenzy wrote:This is a Sound Production question.

Re: Mixer / Interface Configuration & Recommendation
I have my rig going into a patchbay then into my Tascam digital mixer (10 channels). Since I have way more outputs than inputs, I just run the mono outs of my most used devices directly into the mixer via normaled connections, meaning that the inputs are connected to the outputs of the patchbay wit...

Re: Mixer / Interface Configuration & Recommendation
isn't a patchbay a lot of manual plugging and unplugging? wouldn't an analog mixer along with a good audio interface like the Motu mk828mk3 do the job? i have no experience with a patchbay and although I read the manuals of the Beheringer PX1000, I still can't understand if I'd need to buy tons of c...

Mixer / Interface Configuration & Recommendation
Most of us have several keyboards/synths -- how do you connect them all to your setup without plugging in and out the audio cables? Here's my situation and question: I have a DAW PC, 8 keyboards that I use on a regular basis, 2 sets of monitors (A & B). What are my options to connect all the keyboar...

4 monitors configuration
I've 2 sets of mintors: JBL LSR4328P , and Alesis M1 Active mk2
I used to have just the Alesis, then upgraded to the JBLs and stored the Alesis. Now I want to setup the 4 of them. Are there benefits to having 2 sets? Of course the quality difference is huge. What's the best configuration?

I always thought logitech speakers were just general/gamer speakers, rather than monitors.. apparently so, ... I got it for my kids for games and thought I can also listen to MP3s and use Reason4 from time to time, but even MP3 don't sound right at all! The base is good, but forget about the tweate...

for that price range I've heard decent things about the Behringer Truth Monitors (b2031 or something? I can't remember). Stay the f**k away from Behringer ms-20s though - shithouse. Thanks, SOS has a great review about the B2031A, but I wonder if the B2030A are as good. I don't need the big 31, so ...

PC Monitors?
I have recently shopped around for a good quality PC monitors (speakers) and after reading tens of reviews I purchased the Logitech Z-2300, which is a 2.1 speaker system. It was supposed to be the best in the market. Although the low is quite good with the sub-woofer, the mid range is very muddy, an...

V-Synth TweakBook
To anyone who owns a V-Synth (any model) do you have Artemiy's TweakBook http://forums.rolandclan.info/?action=s ... d=4&page=1?
I'm contemplating buying it and looking for any comments/review from those who read it and used it with their V-Synth.

I have both the Fusion for somtime now, more than a year and the Ion for three years. If I were you, and if I would to choose one synth only for around $1,000; I would get the Fusion. Simply put, there isn't anything in the market, new or old, that does all the things the Fusion does except the $8,0...
