Re: NAMM 2017

Details seem hard to read/see.
I can see this being hard to operate under certain conditions.

Not trying to be a doubter....

Bitwig Studio in February 2017

I know some of you are into this, plus I'm tired of seeing that spammy post up at the top of the software area. ------ https://www.bitwig.com/en/bitwig-studio/bitwig-studio-2.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tvDJTUoHkc&feature=youtu.be The new year brings big news from Bitwig HQ. Re: MPC Live and X

For many of us, this is a tough one. marketing aside, it's like a FINALLY product. Not a great innovation, just a finally product. like 'finally, they made this to catch up...with one EVERYONE has been asking for. And I hate when people comment anything like "AKAI listens to its customers, well done...

Re: NAMM 2017

Maybe my next thought is wrong since it's off the head. But gear or synths seem to fit into ONLY two roles. Studio and Stage. And gear seems more suited for one than the other. And us as users need to know which way something is supposed to go. simple layout, Great tone, sculpting interface = gig De...

Re: NAMM 2017

You're about to upset me with that stupid link to gearslutz that you DIDN'T READ YOURSELF. I did....all...of....it..... pages 1- 55 are speculation about a synth that NONE of them have heard or used. Same thing here on VSE all the time, nothing new really. Uninformed speculation that's fun to do and...

Re: Your thoughts on the GAIA?

Reminds me of the matrix where they wouldn't answer about whether or not they had wire work done because if you say "we used wires.." people claim they see wires even in scenes that didn't use them. So you start listening, what will you hear?

Re: NAMM 2017

Well the turn over could be for a lot of reasons. If there is even some anomaly in quick flips.... If it was a "flaw" you'd be hearing about it. Buyers would be going crazy and ranting for fixes. And only after a year or two do people give up hope and replace beloved gear. DSI gear has never been ov...

Re: NAMM 2017

Maybe you ought to think in the reverse. What the F__K would you BUY if somebody released that SH_T? -now comes all the fantasy c**p like a super-poly for under $500..... -Or a new synthesis system that's analog without the limitations of analog- that sounds analog, but is a new analogy...type...

Re: NAMM 2017

Nope. They wouldn't. Several reasons.... off the head... 1) Portable cameras and cheaper tech. Especially to transfer the video to a shareable format. 2) Youtube was still in its infancy (or before youtube even) so where on the computer were you going to watch an 80s video? And youtube was notorious...

Re: Expensive MIDI Cables...?

I am certainly NOT the most technically/savvy member on this forum. But MIDI does transmit power to devices. I have several that are POWERED through the MIDI cable. In case you're thinking I made this stuff up..... http://www.midisolutions.com/faqs.htm Q: The MIDI Solutions products don't have a pow...

Re: Im surprised

Where does it say HOW MUCH one is?
Looks cool. Interested in what tricks the sequencer has up its sleeve.

But no, not gassing. Excited to see it though.
