Or you could read the manual, learn that you need to route the outputs of the XP-30 to the inputs of the V-Synth, and avoid all that hard work above... Uh... you still have to do the hard work - even more. To me it sounded like your way was rather more complicated. Sampling each tone used in the XP...

(If you don't have a manual:...wait, is this a GT or a XT or the original keyboard?)

Before you hit the bottle, Colin is focused on a memory expansion and a all new OS for the P3. Once he gets that out of the way, he'll get back to working on the next product. (Or so he said last I knew)

Jupiter 8. All those colours!

Really though, I guess I'd just prefer the sound of the Roland over the Oberheim.

Anyone know what any of this gear is?

A lathe for cutting vinyl is my best guess.

If you mean step-sequencers, then same answer for both: Sequentix P3 (which has an arpeggiator mode).

If you mean the other kind of sequencers...never used one.

If you mean built-in stuff...I have no idea, I only use the P3.

The power button/switch.

No, better yet, the power cord! Or maybe the PSU.

let me know if you still think that after you spend 3 hours just placing microphones around drums. or spent hours setting up around an acoustic guitar with the right config of mics and outboard. or recording a live band straight to the interface. thats always easy as h**l to mix... I recently had t...

1. OSCar: IwantIwantIwantIwantIwantIWANT! But they're too expensive. 2. A synthesisers.com system, I can't afford the resulting module lust and also I don't have room. 3. I don't know...a FS1R? Except I do plan on getting one, as it sounds like a very unique synth...it might end up being my next pur...

It has the 606 and 808 too.

Having used it a little more (and read the manual), I've started to like it a little more. Once you get rid of the frankly silly "FX" and get the knobs all in the right positions, it really doesn't sound too bad.

AudioRealism Drum Machine released

http://www.audiorealism.se/adm/adm_announcement.htm Demo also avaliable. I've tried it out a bit and...well, this is what I posted on Matrix's blog: "I'm trying out the demo and so far am totally underwhelmed. Can't speak as to the emulation quality (the only TR I have is the 707), but at the momen...

Stealing and shoplifting are different, and without starting a big tanget I would just like to say that I do almost all my stealing from large corporations (ie walmart, target, etc.). I'm opposed to stealing from real people. People with faces. Yeah, no-one who runs, works for, or is a shareholder ...

This is fricking fantastic. You've spent 2 whole pages bickering about the correct conversion rates between USD and GBP. Can one get more off-topic? Is that a challenge? Personally, I bet Liberace's socks smelled way better than Bach's. Probably ate more bananas. Okay, but seriously now...*writes s...
