Re: Daniel Miller on Modular Synths ...

Great video! What's the module with the red and blue colors and the one at the bottom right of the case?

Re: I was Delayed

Oh cool thank you! The morse code is a patch from the ultranova. I did one of theses projects a few years back and it ended up being an hour long!

I was Delayed

Happy Holidays! Here's a little piece using extreme delay feedback to create sort of an ambient track. Synths involved = 95% microbrute, 3% minibrute (sub bass) and 2% Ultranova.

Feedback is welcome!

You know, it wouldn't surprise me if they did another analog with a vintage filter of some flavor. Stanton Syrinxs' dual band pass and a 24dB low pass anyone?

Speculation time!

Since Arturia's given us two amazing, and for the most part - affordable, "single oscillator" analogs, I like to think their next move could be another 'brute with more keys (octaves) and perhaps another oscillator that's tunable to boot. Maybe even an expanded patching facility? I know we can specu...

Cool demo! I really dig the splitter idea for the mini patch-bay too.

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

Somehow, I got lucky and scored a Minibrute from a Guitar Center in Pomona, CA. As you all know... or, for those that are waiting to pick one up still, the synths' build and tone are outstanding! Here's a minute and a half of some sounds I put together and the only effects are a little reverb and de...

Hmmm... Could this be a hint about Arturia's next product line, Arturia modular synths maybe? They had the balls to make an analog synth, why not take the next step?

Focal CMS 65 monitor question

Does anyone know what the XLR connector is on these monitors? Is it male or female? I've checked the manual, their website, and all I can come up with is that they're simply XLR connectors. Strange that they don't specify male or female.

yeah... lovin' the CS-15's filters. They're just so different from any other filter I've heard. In a good way of course.
