Now when I hear GC trade-in all I can think about is the guy on this board that traded in a PEK for a Moog LP... :? Epic Fail.[/quote] That was me. Still happy I did it too even though I lost out on a bunch of money. The guy that did the trade-in took it home so he got a really good deal. So a...

That's great news Amos! I was hoping for that. Anything else you could tell us about OS 2.0?

Help me hook up my compressor!

Need some help folks. I just picked up an Alesis 3630 compressor and for now I want to utilize it for psytrance so I asume "ducking" is in order here for the bass and kick. What I'd like to do is use the LP for bass and the xbase09 kick. I have a mixer(Mackie DFX6) that i'm not using right now too b...

Not a WASP user but I did have the WASP filter when I had my Doepfer modular. I also had the Moog filter but prefered the WASP. Very wicked, and bubbly sounding at high resonance settings.

JS - I processed the xbase through the LP and although there is no tracking or syncing of the filter, the filter knob is "light" enough that you can twist it quickly enough to stay in rhythm...well, provided you're not needing tracking at 250 bpm or something your hand can't keep up with. Trust me t...

I'm with ya nada. It's just so easy to counjure up good usable sounds. As far as RAC I couldn't agree more. To me it's a real let down to hear stepping within an analog synth or synths ment to mimic analog (VA's). Yeah I guess it's desireable for some people but not I!

Yeah I used to sequence my SEMblance with the PEK sequencer. Seq. 1 would be "midi note", Seq. 2 would be "midi velocity". Setting step 16 to "reset" on Seq track 2 = :D As far as sequencing the LP, I like to use the Xbase09's "track page" function. Not sure if people that own Xbase's know this but ...

Seems like alot of synths have external inputs eh? From my little collection: Korg ER-1mkII (two inputs), Analogue Solutions SEMblance (two), Moog LP (1 audio in).

I liked that track, it seemed...happy! I tried to mess around with the UW at Analogue Haven once but I had a little trouble navigating. Is it easy to learn and do on the fly tweaks?

Danny want some soup?

What a name eh? I though the first clip of this noise collage sounded like "Danny want some soup?"...ok, well, this is the Nord Lead 2x FM type noise processed by the Moog LP so it's not a song but just an example of what it sounds like through the LP. Some of theses clips could be used musically in...

Thanks for responding guys. I was going kind of easy on the effects on this track because I wanted as much "LP only" as possible. Maybe I'll go back and add some stuff and repost. Kind of busy with another track right now so it may be awhile. Hey as far as more effects processing, any suggestions? S...
