Yes FM layered with analogue is the sound of a lot of classic records. I would say, the 106 is the most perfect pair for the JU60 you can ever imagine. They do sound a bit different for reasons that have been amply discussed in other areas of this forum but, ultimately, they are pretty much the same instrument. Well, you can definitely do that on a cs70, and the cs40 is somewhere near, pretty sure it is possible
