Hi, I'm sending sysex from my d50 PC editor to my d50. First sys file, and all 64patches loaded fine ad stayed in memory. Now, every time I send sys file, it's always "midi error" on my d50 display and only first 6 patches I loaded are staying in memory.
Why is that?

Obviously when the cartridge is plugged in, some connection is being made correctly and when it is out the connection is not being made. That's what I need to know!! :lol: What connections exactly!? Start with the usual ESQ/SQ troubleshooting. Open it up and reseat the ribbon cables between boards. Try cleaning the contacts for the cartridge slot. Etc. What is really wondering me, how the h**l this cartridge is related with internal sound banks and how it affects general booting? This is so we...
