Re: Ctrlr - MIDI hardware controller for old and new gear

i updated it quickly you can pick the midi device in the preferences (where the midi channel is), remember to keep a audio device open (output) otherwise the processing loop will stop. in terms of VST id depends, each host does it differently, most of the drop SYSEX messages completly so this wont w...

Re: Ctrlr - MIDI hardware controller for old and new gear

The Alpha Juno editor is there, give it a try and see if it works, i dont have the hardware so i can't test it. if you need a MAC build give me a shout it's not a problem.

as for the mopho
i wanted a MOPHO anyways (the hardware) so i'll propably make one.

Re: Ctrlr - MIDI hardware controller for old and new gear

looks simple enough, you'd like sliders or knobs ? i'll make a simple one, if you know someone then provide some graphics and i'll use them, otherwise i'll use some of my own.

Re: Ctrlr - MIDI hardware controller for old and new gear

there are two options, i'd need a midi spec for a alpha juno (if it's similar to juno106 then it should be fast), or you can wait for a WYSIWYG editor to be ready nut the latter will take some time.

Re: software controller for hardware synths

there isn't really any format that a syx file contains, it's a binary dump of a device, the format is unique to the device there is no universal way to read/write it, unless you know exactly what's the structure of that dump. i will however at some point add a load/save dump files feature, but i don...

Re: New kid on the block (chimera new bc16 synth)

i got mine yesterday didn't have the chance to test it (it needs batteries or PSU input via the MIDI socket) since i had no batteries and no time to re-solder some MIDI plug, i had to wait one day. hope i'll get a chance to play with it today. the package contained a "converter" that looks like a sd...
