Moog Voyager Mellotron Hammond B3 All out of reach for cost and space reasons. Also because I would look silly in the gold cape which one should properly wear while playing that trio of monsters. Actually, the Voyager is not that far beyond the realm of possibility...I've just got to be really disce...

My live rig consists of my trusty Ensoniq SD1 on an X-stand run through a Roland KC-300 amp. I add my Alesis Ion and/or Roland JV1080 as the set list requires.

Kurzweil VA-1
Ensoniq 16/4/2 mixer (yeah, it's not a synth, but it's a product we would have considered at the time)

Why would you want to create accurate acoustic imitations on an Ion, or any other VA, for that matter? If you want to sound like a tuba, use sample-playback or the real deal. Use VA or RA to create what you hear in your head and what no acoustic instrument can do. OK. I feel better now. I'll put the...

Might as well use the three that I already have: Ensoniq SD1, Roland JV1080 and Alesis Ion.

I bought my first synthesizer, a 1991-vintage Ensoniq SD1, in late 1995. Still have it, it's the center of my rig.
