Re: Yamaha CS-30 Seq Sync

I use my CS30's sequencer as a master for both R64 Rhythmbox and SQ10...Where's the trouble? You've got a SEQ TRIG OUT and SEQ CV OUT jacks on the rear panel... 8)

Re: The gear I've had during the years...

I started in 1979 at the age of 15. It was my first synth, a brand new MS20. Then next year I found a not much used SQ10. Next year a MonoPoly, CS15 and DR-55 rhythm box. Then, for 5 years I bought all the gears you may see in my list below, and I still regularly use my first synths, excepted the CS...

Re: My polysynth is finally finished :D

I'm coming late, but I want to say that this is a really impressive work!!! All those voice-allocation concerns seem so complicated to me, I didn't think any DIYer would ever make this! I like the really strange and original look! Pretty oldschool! I think you could call it NAUTILUS, because...

In 1982, when I bought my Korg MP4, just one week later my brother let it fall, and those shit-false-wood ends where broken on the rear, both sides.
But the synth still worked happyly.
However I still have it, and it still works really well! :P

Never loose memory (Korg Poly800II)

Hello guys,
I'd like to replace the soldered battery/capacitor that feeds the memory.
It's a flat round orange disk, and I'd need some precise specifications to purchase a new one.
Have someone allready done this?

Thanx.

It's not an attack, but I never understood how anyone could find the JP synths beautifull.
Really vulgar and razzle-dazzle to me, with all those cheezy organ colours, like a b***h with too much makeup... :x

The Polyfusion modular! Something in the modules's placement, various knob sizes, empty spaces...Really beautyfull! Korg 800DV, the rough guy. You can SEE how strong it sounds! Arp Quadra, really smart! SCI Multitrack, very smart too. Buchla 200 series. Despite my HATE of digital synths, I like the ...

Not sure I'll know myself, coz the schematics are not so clear and the component not marked on the plates...But I know the filter works: I can hear the reso./
