Re: Broken button on MC-303

Are the switches through-hole? Use a solder sucker (little blue vacuum pump) to clean the holes out. Use some fresh solder on your iron to help heat transfer to liquify the existing solder. You could practice a bit on some scrap(pier, ha ha) piece of electronics first to get the hang of it. Thanks ...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

If I worked for Arturia, I would be embarrassed that the company apparently can't get its collective s**t together. I know a couple of people at Arturia. I think they're too busy trying to deal with becoming a major synth manufacturing company in the space of a couple of months due to unforseen dem...

Re: Android MIDI control

I am working on a MIDI app for android that will allow custom touch layouts that send MIDI events. It's basically a TouchOSC port but I have some features eventually that will distinguish my app: - online layout creator and sharing to find layouts for your gear - patch management (so your synth edit...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

I wonder what's causing all the delays? I don't know if I posted this quote on this forum, but this is what the admin. from Arturia forum had posted: There are a lot of myths and legends about the release date and quantity of the MiniBrute, and I suspect there is a lack of communication on our side...

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

My preorder (I only booked it a week ago) with moogaudio.com just pushed back to July, and they said they'll be the first people to get them in Canada.

Do not get a korg microsampler. It's limited in many many ways. Hugo76 do you have one?

Re: Arturia MiniBrute - analog monosynth

Considering xox boxes haven't impacted 303 prices, why would the m.b. affect sh 101 prices? And while were at it, why trash the gear? If you don't like it, don't use it. I'd be happy to use the 101 and little else if I were in such a situation, but it doesn't have to be an either/or. Let the 101 la...

Re: Space Echo Tape Loops warning!

Anyone have an opinion of echofix.com products? I'm looking at getting the full service kit: http://www.echofix.com/products/service-kit-save-over-3000 Their tape description sounds like the rest of 'em (lubricated, better than original, etc) although they don't mention length. I'm experiencing a pr...

Re: Space Echo Tape Loops warning!

sorry man, still do but think i'm hanging onto those i have left. understood, no problem. After I read a bunch of differing opinions I don't think I want the original stock anymore anyways as it makes sense they'd have degraded after this long. Sadly it looks like Robert in Croatia is currently out...
