I don't see why it wouldn't be real since they reintroduced the IIIc and reintroduced the moog 15 as well, so they've remade the pieces they'd need to remake the IIIc. if you're seriously interested, send me a private message as we may be able to get you one.

Re: Are software synths disposable instruments?
a softsynth will only work for as long as the OS/computer system that it runs on works. and computers are intentionally made obsolete fast. personally, i buy hardware because i dont like paying for products that rely on other products to work - products that are designed to be obsolete quickly.

Re: Mice in Synths: Polymoog + Mouse = Polymouse
Hi Mini.. I've received many a piece of vintage kit with ex mouse inhabitation issues... I wouldn't worry too much - as with most things its all about being pragmatic and practical. Older kit is less of a risk in terms of survival/repair after such infestation but more modern pcbs can potentially b...

Mice in Synths: Polymoog + Mouse = Polymouse
we were recently offered a polymoog by a seller who I believe bought it from a storage auction. it was in rough shape externally so we asked for pics of the inside. in one of the pics was a ball of wall insulation. this is usually an indication that a mouse attempted to build a nest inside, and mice...

Re: Goldfrapp Synth Interview in MT
done right, the ps3300 and polymoog *always* take a huge investment of time and money. theyre complicated synths that need a full rebuild to work properly nearly 40 years after their creation. every time we fully refurbish another, i swear "never again!"... and then we get another and need to refurb...

Thanks for the info Broadwave, I found the circuits too via Geatslutz where Uli shares his things, photos of the circuit board too, this is an interesting stratergy. He's letting us inspect the product in great detail so we can argue the "for and against" based on fact rather than bias and opinion....

Re: What would be a nice companion to my Juno 60?
i agree that an fm synth like a dx7 would compliment the analog juno 60 quite well. if you're interested, we have a gorgeous refurbished dx7iifd in stock right now. otherwise, if you're an analog purist, you would probably want something with oscillator sync and ring modulation (for example, an arp ...

you basically answered your own question. you want a DX. the wavestation's a great synth but for what you're looking for, the DX should make you a lot happier. go get it!
