I'm thinking 20-25 years, at a minimum.

Re: Synths used on 'Fletch'
listen to the sweeping sound into the break on both, the water drip sounds, the bassline.
axel f was clearly modeled after situation.
do i need to provide links with timing references?

Re: Synths used on 'Fletch'
if you compare axel F to yaz situation, youll notice that axel F was totally a situation knockoff. im sure this was due to the beverly hills cop folks request - movie and commercial people often ask soundtrack producers to make music that sounds a lot like something else someone else already recorde...

"Thanks. What does those little percussive noises during the breakdown section (Obviously influenced by Yazoo's "Situation")?"
if you compare the Axel F with Yaz Situation, you'll notice that Axel F was totally a Situation knockoff.

Re: is a floppy disk necessary to run KORG M1s original pres
if you can find the factory patches online (if theyre not still on the machine), we sometimes use the very cheap m audio uno midi interface on a mac laptop running this free software, and it often works: https://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/ you say the m1 is very expensive over there - how much do...

Re: Andromeda A6 or Jupiter 8?
A JP-8 I'd probably have to keep expensive maintenance on every couple years or more. A Jupiter-8 is nicer to look at and has more pedigree, but h**l if I wanna try and maintain a 1981 synth in 2017. vintage synths get a bad rap because few buyers / sellers do FULL restorations. most people would r...

Re: Andromeda A6 or Jupiter 8?
i love both the jp8 and the andromeda, but i wouldnt get one if i was looking for the other. the jp8 is simpler and instantly sounds good. the andromeda is one of the most complex analog synths and takes a lot more fussing to sound good. you can do a lot more with the andromeda but the sound just is...

Re: Waldorf XT Repair - Reputable shop?
i'd recommend our tech if you were looking to do a full restoration of a vintage analog, but he's not interested in repairing waldorf products. id recommend contacting waldorf and finding an authorized service center.
good luck!

Re: Waldorf Microwave Mk1 (Rev.B) PLEASE HELP!!
im not sure if this is it, but make sure your device number is correct and you may also need to be in multi mode for sysex transfer to work, as i think is the case with the MW2/XT. good luck.
