Re: A Lot of Mostly RS7000

Re: A bit of Switched on Action

The tracks are my arrangements and recording of prokofiev's Dance of the Nights and karl jenkins Sanctus and Dies Irae; they weren't originally in the scores of Pacific Rim or any Doctor Who upisodes.

It was just an idea thing to set the tracks to those movies/episodes.

A bit of Switched on Action

It's so long I can't remember when I last posted here... but anyhow, here's some of the 'Switched On' stuff I've been upto since... whenever. Dance of the Knights / Pacific Rim didn't come off as well as I would have liked, just lost the 'vision' for that project a bit, the other two have a Jenkins ...

Re: Radikal Technologies Accelerator sound demos

Thanks for putting the demos up... I really love the sound of this synth, it's one of the few bits of kit that's come out in recent years that's really grabbed me. :D

Re: Pirates of Hawthorne

Is it my imagination, or is the first track entirely put together from samples of the opening to Psychic TV's cover of Good Vibrations? ;)

Does anyone have a Manikin Memotron service manual?

I need to take my Memotron in for repair as there's an issue with the 'tape' select knob, for some strange reason positions A and C on it no longer work although position B does. So I can only load up one sound at a time. Good news is I have a regular tech guy who is great with gear, but he really c...

Re: The Poly 800 Appreciation Thread

Allegedly I posted pron with nudity in it, well I swear she was not nude at all but some people do not agree with me that high heels and a dog collar count as clothing. Then I got unbanned and accidentally banned again after I photoshopped a figleaf to the offending part of the next pic, ...

Re: The Poly 800 Appreciation Thread

Glad I found this thread, as I saw the version of it over on KSS but cannot respond due to a temporary state of bannage.

Nice video, nice playing and some lovely sounds from the Poly 800, but there is definitely a severe lack of crossdressing.

Re: Every VCO Polyphonic Synthesizer

My second choice would be a Prophet 600 but I have heard negative things about stepping of the knobs/values and the envelope. Anyway, so I am trying to see what other VCO polyphonic synths are out there. P600 really is a lot better on sound than the specification would suggest, very ballsey, the ma...

Very nice Image

But I have to ask, why do most modular owners have hands like a girl?

Re: Moog IIIc on Toronto Craigslist. BUT...

Well, since this thread is now well and truly derailed, I'll share with you all what I found in a hidey hole in my next door neighbour's kitchen earlier in the year - probably it has been there since about 1980:
