Re: Teletron Mind-Control Interface for Synthesizer

Re: HELP!!!

I'd say Alesis SR-16 as it's not that pricey new and there's a ridiculous number of them in circulation.

Only thing that might come in cheaper is Yamaha RY8, if you don;t mind a dinkey pocket sized thing.

As used by Throbbing Gristle.

One of the only 3 monosynths that's on my GAS list still too, pending finding one that's not stupiidly expensive lol if that ever happens.

I like the sounds and vibe of that a lot, though it's a little bit repetative.

Re: HEY - Where's Matrixsynth?

The site collapsed under the sheer weight of all the videos he's posted without the owners permission.

It's still there but now it's mega dense like pixelated neutron star material.

Re: Examples of great electronic compostions in video games

I think it can be argued that YMO pretty much invented video game-style music at a time when video games only had pretty minimal soundtracks. Play (or listen to) almost any late 80s/early 90s Japanese action game and you'll most likely hear the influence. Thanks for bringing those guys to my attent...

Advance audio frequency generator from 1953... though i need to swap out the output valve by the look of it to get it up and running again.
