Re: controller keyboards

Well i understand a controller keyboard as a MIDI controller, that you use
to control other boards or MIDI modules (Rack synths etc..).
There are specified MIDI controllers that has no sound capability its own,
or you can use some good MIDI capable keyboard as a master controller.

Very good, specially the drums! I think it's quite
difficult to keep timing by playing drums from keyboard.

Seems that you got some new toys there;)

Every picnic needs a synth, MusicMuseum Stockholm

Hello! I was in Stockholm recently and had some time to wonder around. So I decided to visit the "Musik Museet". A little museum of music instruments, some of to be tried out also. There was some harps and cempalos to try out, nice. Also spotted an AKS synthi: http://www.cs.tut.fi/~haapalaj/mumuseum...

I learned to play with brand new SY-35 and eventually
(Within a year) broke it's keyboard (Middle C non functional).

Repaired it though.

Thanks braincandy! I didn't found this from the manuals. JV patches are shown as "EXP JV" and jd as "EXP JD". Those JD patches are very good, better than in my Fantom S. Especially the Mellotron patches. I had JD800 and sold it (No room for it), but I surely missed the sound. So I bought JD990. It's...

Installing expansion board into JD990

I have installed the SR-JV80-04 to JD990 and
it shows the "expanded" text at startup screen.

How do i access the presets on this board?

Nor user or program patches has changed or expanded.
Do i still need a additional patch card?

Damn!

You will never get it away from me!! ;)

I still wonder, it has it's original manual and
everything is in really good shape, only
the serialcode plates are missing.

Well, I can't do anything else but
maybe ask the seller if possible.

Juno60 serial plates?

Hello! I have an issue with my Juno 60. There should be the serialcode plates at the back of the Juno. Mine doesen't have them! There isn't any visible marks of removing them either. They are not found inside either. I wonder, is my Juno originally stolen or what? Is there such an units that dont ha...

I like it!

Good sounds. A bit "arcade" like.
Maybe some drum fill in's could be added indeed,
the orchestral version had these huge bass drums.
