Re: Yamaha CS-5 $350 go for it?

I had a CS-5 a while back and sold it for far too little... the main problem with them is that they'll make you want another. I think within three months of getting the 5, I'd picked up a 15. Prices have risen since then. Only four years ago I got my 5 for less than £100. Perhaps people are startin...

Re: Korg Zero 8 to record? Where are the best prices in Euro

I just tried mine today. I got it as an Ex-Demo unit from a store (they sent it to me by mail) but haven't been able to test it before... I installed the Zero Edit and then I connected it to my iMac (with OS 10.4). I can change on the system preferences to use the Korg Zero 8 (it even seems to detec...

Re: SCI FX Unit - What sort of price??

I think I remember there was someone here wanting more than 2000$ for a system (I think it had 3 rack units), so I'd say it seems a great deal...
It's rare and if you like the sound of it, I'm sure it would be a good pick, as they don't seem to come up that often...

In MusicStore they are selling them at 299 euros, which seems a nice price.
At least much cheaper than the Micron...

Re: Overdrive Pedal

The only one I have is a Yamaha OD-10MII, which I think has a great sound. Used it with my Polysix and for fast arpeggio lines I could get almost a slap bass sound. Also have the Flanger of the same series, and it seems Yamaha did a nice job on them. Pretty cheap, and definitely a nice choice (I thi...

Re: reflections on NOT having an Andromeda

I'd buy a Studio Electronics polysynth before I'd ever consider the A6. If the price rise to that level, I guess I'd do the same. The Andromeda seems great, but not that great to spend so much on a machine that can die and be incredibly hard to repair... And for now, I'm quite happy with my two mai...

Re: Novation Ultranova

Seems pretty cool. I just have to disagree with something said before, I think the Supernova sound is pretty good, for nice UI I'd much rather have a Nord Lead 3. But a similar interface to the Supernova II would be much better. Maybe will get one later, if it has a really nice sound and I need a sy...

Re: Just got myself a Korg 03r/w

With a RE-1 it's fairly easy to do it. By itself... I didn't took a chance at doing it... I think it sounds quite good. Too bad I have a Triton and I don't need too many ROMplers, so I'm getting rid of mine. Still keeping the RE-1 for a future Korg A1. Might jump on another one if I get it really ch...

Re: Lots of LFOs

Alesis Fusion has 8 lfo's and 8 envelopes. Just as important as the number of lfo's though, are the number and type of shapes those lfo's can produce. I forgot about that one... One important point is that the LFO's shape can be modulated, which is great. The only minus when compared to the Ion is ...

I sold and EMU Morpheus Card to the user teecee.
He paid by bank transfer and after I got the money he received the card.
The transaction went perfect.

Good buyer for sure ;)

Re: Hardware sequencer/pad machin to act as the centre of my

The Command Stations are great machines. I'm still quite inexperienced with mine, but so far I quite like it. The sounds and the sequencer seem both very capable. How easy is the sequencer to use? I want to be able to put down chord sequences and maybe the odd bassline or lead line... Imagine you'r...

Re: Modern Jupiter 8

Not the same thing, but you can get a Roland MKS-80 for much less than a Jupiter 8. The structure is similar and I can tell you I am quite satisfied with mine ;) I got mine for 600 euros and I honestly doubt the Jupiter 8 is worth all the difference in price. I bet it's an amazing synth, but too pri...
