Re: Korg is on a roll..........

Just ignore these pretentious bullshit posts. He trolls every thread about new gear extolling the virtues of his various crusty old synths that spend more time getting looked at than played.

Re: salem - king night (sound/mixing)

It sounds like a DJ Screw album with different people making noise over the backing track. This s**t used to be called "chopped and screwed" which means somebody is playing with the pitch and time. Plenty of tutorials all over the web, just google "chopped and screwed."

Re: Studio Cabin Fever

I too have my studio set up in a separate space. In my case, it's a barn/woodshop. Even though it's just a minute walk from the house, I have a hard time committing my time to sitting and making music in there, especially since my friends and I seldom do any jamming/rehearsal/anything outside of cop...

Here are some sample packs for sale. Either way, the demos give you a good idea what you can do with samples.

Re: David Sancious's comment on vintage gear (keyboard mag)

The problem is when people try to ascribe a more intrinsic value to a musician that uses tools to make music as opposed to a gear fetishist that sometimes uses tools to make music. Be what you are and only concern yourself with things to concern yourself.

Re: holy grail, synths, mixer, and newbie

You aren't overloading the Holy Grail at the input are you?

Any of your friends have a different reverb pedal you could try as a diagnostic tool, just to confirm it is/isn't the Grail?

Re: Waldorf Blofeld

Might as well post the question here. This seems like a cheap digital, crunchy, wavey sort of synth. I have the Sq80 covering a good amount of ground there, but this also looks really interesting and unique. I'm torn between this or the Evolver. Would anyone that's owned both like to give their opi...

Re: What shoul I have to use for this??

Great suggestions guys. And what about this stuff: Digitech JML2 . I think it could worth better my case. And it has got an expansion for SD card! Tell me what you think. Nice day. You want the 404, that pedal is simply a looper. It could do the job, but it is not really made for what you need, as ...

The SP404 works well in this application; I've used one live.

Boss 404 will work fine for this. I know this because I've used it for the exact same thing.

Re: synth rubber feet......spare a square?

Your local hardware store has them on the same aisle with all the other rubber feet, gliders/coasters, furniture accessories, etc.

If you can't find the exact size, you could always pull off the other three and put 4 new ones on.
