Re: The sound of the end of an RS-09
to me it sounds like a cold solder or broken audio cable inside that is intermittent. Check the volume knob, does it do this if you turn the knob?

Re: Synth Horror Stories
Trying to mod my Moog Prodigy by installing an additional switch for the filter envelope to control the Osc sync, i had an issue with something and had to have the synth plugged into the mains to check connections. my hand slipped and touched some part of the board with a cable and saw a bright ligh...

Hi all I had an Arp Pro-Dgx once and remember when i opened it , there was a h**l lot of components and cables inside . I guess each sound had to had it's on set of electronics so i was thinking if any of the more... veteran users here :) could explain the reasoning for making these preset synths ba...

Re: Can anyone help me recreate this saw?
Actually absolutely not poly800, this is a typical Korg DW6000/8000 /slash PPG formant digital sound, you could also have something similar in an access virus or Novation Ks synth. As far as i can hear it could also be a FM synth sound. Poly 800 sound completely different , you can hear the stacked ...

Re: Synton Syrinx #1
I think all of you are forgetting the likes of Depeche Mode musicians, Vince clarke , Gary numann etc.. who when word will get to them about this ad will snap this in a second just to have a Synrix SN1 . And this is the type of buyers this seller is looking for not us simple mortals. And he will sel...

Re: Tiracon 6V
No unfortunately it does not sound great and it has been voted worst synth due to it's annoying limitations that i will talk about later. For the love of god if you get one DO NOT OPEN IT !!!!!! .These are constructed like a polymoog where sound cards are stacked vertically to the main board and mou...

Re: Jupiter 6 Vs Proph 08
Definitely go with the Jupiter, The Prophet 8 was the worst synth after the Evolver that i ever got and i got many synths in the past.
It has a very slim sound and is very uninspiring.

Just played the MicroBrute , my impressions....
Okey so i came back 3 times to play in the past the MiniBrute in my local shop and there were a couple of things annoying me so never bought one . the filter cutoff range was somewhat limited on the Mini with Tracking set at 200% the cutoff at 0 would be pretty much nearly fully open ?!! also i noti...

Re: New stuff from Roland!
Wow really no one tried the simple trick of increasing the brightness of the pictures on Roland Website? Ok so there are 4 machines : The keyboard is the Roland SYSTEM-1 synthesizer (System 100 copy or call it whatever) There is the TB-3 (TB303) The TR8 (Tr-808/909) And the VT-3 (Voice transformer -...

Re: Just played with a Novation BS2...
There are only selling points, it's beyond what you can imagine for that kind of money , they just blew off the other monos (in similar price range of course up to Little phatty) as far as sound and features go. Someone mentionned ultrafast lfo in a Sub ,you have them too in the BS , Also someone as...
