going out on a limb here, but my guess is that there is still too much of a niche market for synths like the evolvers and such. I don't imagine the big three would put the effort (and money) into producing something if they had no garauntee of selling at least tens of thousands of units.

ok - still a little confused. on the hp website it says that i need to replace the ram with "ddr sdram dimm".

Can someone please explain to me the general ins and outs of ram speed? I am looking to max upgrade my computer from 512 to 1gb. i am using a compaq presario 6350us, p4 2.4ghz with 512 ddr sdram @133mhz (2x256). note - this is the default configuration from the manufacturers website. the part i will...

A battle of the bands should literally mean the bands duel to the death onstage, using instruments as weapons. I think keyboards just wouldn't have the same swing to them as a guitar though, they're too evenly weighted, as opposed to a nice thin part to hold and a big body to crunch the enemy with....

absolutely nothing. my first instrument ever was a poly800 that i got when i was 19. didn't even get a computer til about two years after that.
