The Little Phatty has a nice solution for the knob jump on programmables. I wish the RAC was on the Voyager as well.

Nice photos Carbon! That's a nice work station you have set up.

I saw it sync perfectly to a Moog Voyager, resulting in a 4 oscillator Voyager.

I use an EchoPro which is fantastic. You could use its little brother the DL4 and get similar results. The Moogerfooger ring modulator is extremely useful. You can roughen up the sound as well as get great tremelo and those wacky bell-like tones. It also offers a triangle/square LFO output to modula...

After reading this thread, if I was to find a wonderful synth like this Moog modular, I'd be reluctant to share it on the internet. The negativity of many of the virtual experts telling me what I should or shouldn't do, like some overbearing authorative father, would be a turn off. A simple warning ...

Here's a Matrix blog that lists a Model 12 that Great Britain's Turnkey store had for sale:

Hey Badhat. This has got to be one of the best "finds" of vintage gear this year (or for the past several years). It's even cooler that it was found at Buck Owens' offices. It looks absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing this with the synth community.

RAC is a Moog innovation where the knobs act like digital but are actually analogue. For example: in my Voyager if I have a patch where the cutoff is all the way on and then switch to a patch where it's half-way on, there will be an audible jump when I move the cutoff knob. Phatty's RAC solves that....

The Voyager has all analogue controls but not the RAC.

The CP251 also has a lag processor so you can change the rise and fall of a wave. For example, you could take a square wave from the CP251, put it through the lag and come up with a ramp. If you had another lfo, for example one from the Moogerfooger Ring mod or phaser, you could pass that and an lfo...

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in the USA piano isn't taught much to the general public. In schools the emphasis is on band instruments and percussion. In addition it is difficult to march with a piano. I doubt much school music is orchestrated/arranged for multiple keyboards. A decen...

Serial filters are when one filter is routed directly into another. You end up filtering a filtered audio signal. Parallel is when the audio signal is split and one path leads to one filter and the other leads to the remaining filter. I'm sure you will love your Virus. It will probably be easier for...

Yes, the manual is horrible at explaining how the step sequencer operates. However, it is a lot easier than the manual suggests. The only time I have tried multiple sequences in Multi mode the attempt failed, and the Q glitched out. That could have been me. I have had no trouble getting one sequence...

I always get a pretty strong signal coming out of the phaser. Often I have to turn it down. I've never noticed any volume problems with the low pass either.
