I doubt it means you can't have a controller (some interface, keyboard etc). Yes, I would still continue just as I do today. It would be more tedious (for me softsynths are) but sure. In many ways I don't think I'm a musician by choice. I can't help it. it's what I am. Like breathing, you must do it...

What he did was no differnet than making a synth patch that sounded like a guitar and then played a lead from it. His "keys" are arranged in a square, most are arranged in like a piano. Any one of us I'm sure can adjust loop points in a matter of a minute or two to give you a looped buzz out of abou...

I ended up with the 2500. I haven't had any problems. It seems to lock to Digital Performer when I record it just fine. As for the 60 vs 1000, I'd go for the 1000 for everything other than the pads. A lot of people, as JS said have NOT had pad problems with the 1000. I did talk to a reputable Akai r...

I wouldn't worry about it. $100 for a WS A/D is a total steal. you can get a replacement backlight strip at http://backlights.telesisgear.com/ They're cheap and easy to install. They actually look really good. At least as good as in their picture. Also, it has a picture of a fading backlight compare...

ESQm .pdf musician's manual wanted
Hello, I found the schematics online, but I haven't been able to find the user manual. I found the ESQ-1 manual online, but I would like the actual ESQm manual. Anyone have a copy you can send me or link me to? I also found a scan for $20 but I'd prefer free!

sounds like a dead battery to me. Will it let you program a patch? if so, program a simple patch then save it. change patches then go back to the saved one. It should still be there. If so, turn the unit off, wait about 30 seconds and turn it back on. If your patch is gone it's probably only the bat...

Waldorf Pulse knobs (pot) and / or schematics?
Hello, I did a search and didn't find anything. I want to replace the cutoff pot but I'm not sure what a good replacement part is. It appears to be an Alps pot, but I haven't found the part number.
does anyone have schematics or know what to use as a replacement?

I didn't have squat. I had a Fender Duo-sonic 2 and a Fender Princton amp. They were actually my dad's but he gave them to me. I didn't have any money. In college, I borrowed $300 from my dad to buy a better guitar. I didn't know anything about synths then except that they looked expensive. In colle...

Fender Duo-Sonic 2 (pre-mustang) with a 1950's tweed case, The original Big Muff pedal and a fender tube amp. All which were considered pretty much c**p at the time and are worth a fair amount now. Fortunately for me, I held on to the pedal long enough to sell it for "vintage" prices. All the...
