Re: In need of a rhythmic beast

here's where we all roll in, and say the one we own is the best ever...I am going to try and avoid that... I do think the Elektron Machinedrum is by far and away the easiest, most amazing to use drum machine I have owned...the sample mangling possible in the UW is incredible...seriously, not a menu...

Re: cheap MC-09, talk me out of it

I was just about to get one my self for sequencing my soon to be finished (well soon is an overstatement) TM3030. I used to own one and I hated it in so many ways but I guess it's good for sequencing.

In need of a rhythmic beast

Hi We're thinking about getting rid of our TR707 and Oberheim DX to buy a new, stable and a*s kicking drum machine and we need your advise. We're considering: Jomox Xbase999 Jomox Xbase888 Elektron Machinedrum Is there any other high-end drum machines to consider? There's the Vermona but we really n...

Wow congratulations! Great demo. Love the tune oscillators in harmony and add some portamento-sound. Beautiful.
How much did it set you back?

Re: 777 Wankery

 zshare embeds the music player in the web page--for me anyway. does it not do that for you? so no need to actually download anything...just hit play and off it goes. do those other sites have the same embedded player capability? zshare hates my Adblock Plus. I tried to turn it off on zshare ...

Re: 777 Wankery

What's up with the zshare-page? It's probably the most annoying page I've ever visited. Why not use sendspace or mediafire or something?

cheers!

Re: CS15 ENV 2 not working right

This sounds like the typical Roland-slider-issue. On my 106 I can set the release slider to 0 and it jumps up to 10. I don't know what causes this but I've experienced it on several Roland synths. Not on my CS15 though.

Re: New Classics

Exactly, when it's used for it's intended purpose, it's a transparent effect. So there's nothing to dislike. It's when it's used as an extreme effect it gets annoying. I can handle the extreme use of autotune but when it's used as a correction tool and they do it so badly that you still can hear th...
