EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention that there's some nasty corrosion on the back of one of the circuit-boards. What can I do abou...

Re: Korg MS2000 vs Analog options

...it's cheaper, has polyphony, has a mod matrix and sequencer so can be programmed deeper than a lot of vintage synths . Wouldn't newer analog models have many of the same features? Not for the price of a used Korg MS2000. New analog poly synths are quite expensive and usually comes without a buil...

Pretty nice! Agree with the static drum thing and I would like more of those vocals. They were really nice. =D>

Reminds me of the swedish electronica group Studio.

Re: The lovely sound of Suicide

I have a Farfisa Compact combo organ and if you want instant "Ghost Riders" bass run it through a small tube amp cranked. I bought it at a flea marked for 20$ and took it home to a friend which had a 5w home-built tube amp and we cranked everything and BAM! instant Suicide. I also knew that they use...

Re: The lovely sound of Suicide

I cant help with an answer, but goddamn I love suicide! 8) Alan vega is the coolest cat ever. Actually, I do have an old thomas organ that I can pull alot of their percussion sounds from the first album with. That steam train snare sound is tops! Yeah what a wonderful duo. I even dig the "I Surrend...

The lovely sound of Suicide

Hi

I've fallen completely in love with the synth/organ sound in Suicide - Keep Your Dreams. What made this sound? The vocalish earlrlrearleearlrlr earlrl sound. It sounds phaserish but its not a typical phaser sound. HELP!
