Re: In need of a rhythmic beast

I actually ending up getting a Vermona DRM1 MKII because it was a lot cheaper than the MD or Jomox (used). It's hopefully on it's way right now! I have an EMX-1 so the sequencer problem is solved, I guess. I found some really nice examples on the interwebz: http://vimeo.com/1362801 http://vimeo.com/...

Re: snobbish question / best PW

I love the PWM on the Korg MS10. I actually like it so much that I rarely use the other waves. It's very bass-friendly.

Re: Thermionic Culture Vulture examples?

I don't have any examples but I just have to say that it sounds amazing. Everything from smooth overdrive/distortion to TOTAL destruction.

What about the Moog Little Phatty Stage II ?

Re: RM1x alternative for live performance?

The Korg EMX-1 is in my opinion a fun sequencer but I'm not sure about the footswitch-thingy.

What's a good reasonably priced di box and mixer?
I guess Behringer or some other low price brand is the cheapest option but the quality is also thereafter.

Re: Taking it live

Buy enough DI-boxes for live use and use a mixer and PA for rehearsals.
