i dunno.. wouldn't the keyboard be bypassed when the gate and pitch CV are plugged in? it still malfunctions most of the time when controlled by an external source. the pitch is irratic.

i dunno.. it can suck, if you want it to sound like a moog or something. But I've gotten a ton of sounds that are good... better than good, they're very unique, specially if you are using the extreme self resonance of the moog slayer mod, along with the wonky lfos and envelopes that come with it. al...

from my experience, it seems like m-audio makes really great pci stuff for the price, but their firewire and usb stuff isn't made sturdy.


the 24/96 and 1010lt audiofile are killer deals. and i've owned both and never had a bit of a problem from them (had em for about 2 years now.)

buddy of mine has a mackie ONYX. it's friggin sweet.

great sound eq's on it, they kill any software eq's i've used. it's very sturdy as well. i'd buy one if i had the dough.
